C-C Doggie Dude Ranch

Cherrie and Clifford Gilliam opened the doors of the Doggie Dude Ranch in 1983 with only 22 pet boarding runs. Now over 25 years later we have well over 100 pet boarding runs, outdoor swimming pools for the water lovers, play parks for the land lovers, and a special retreat just for the felines. Despite all of those changes, our purpose is still the same - to provide a safe place for your pets when they can't be with you. We believe in socialization, hands-on attention, and having fun! Your pets will always receive the love and care that they deserve when they're with our family. That's why we've been in business 25 years and counting!

Our strength is derived from our company values, which are resourcefulness, community, and education.

Being Prescottonians ourselves, we love our community! We want to ensure that Prescott continues to be a wonderful place to live and to raise our families - even our four-legged family members. We believe that socializing pets is a great way to enhance community as humans and animals are able to happily enjoy each other's company. Education

The DDR encourages life-long learning and requires its ranch hands to complete certain education requirements each year, ensuring that they are always up to speed in the most current methods and practices in the pet care industry. We also want our customers and community members to be educated about pet care and safety. This is why we speak in schools, libraries, and other venues to increase animal awareness.

We also embrace education through our participation in the APS Academy for the Advancement of Small, Minority- and Women-owned Enterprises (AAAME).
